Famitsu หนึ่งในนิตยสารเกมสุดเก่าแก่ของญี่ปุ่น ที่มีมาตั้งแต่สมัยเครื่องเกมแฟมิคอม ฉลองครบรอบ 30 ปีด้วยการทำโพลถามความคิดเห็นจากเกมเมอร์นักอ่าน ว่าเกมไหนเป็นเกมที่สนุกมากที่สุดในความทรงจำ 10 อันดับของเครื่องเกมแต่ละยุคสมัย โดยไล่มาตั้งแต่ยุคเครื่องแฟมิคอม มาเรื่อยๆจนถึงยุค PS4 จากทุกๆผู้ผลิตทั้ง นินเทนโด เซก้า โซนี่ และไมโครซอฟท์ เฉพาะเครื่องเกมคอนโซล ไม่นับโทรศัพท์มือถือ พีซี ตู้อาเขต และพวกเครื่องเกมที่ไม่ได้รับความนิยม

กติกาการโหวตคือแต่ละคนจะโหวตได้เพียง 1 เกมที่ชอบที่สุดในแต่ละแพลตฟอร์มเท่านั้น โดยมีเกมเมอร์ญี่ปุ่นเข้าร่วมโหวตกว่า 2,921 คน ซึ่งผลการโหวต 10 อันดับสุดยอดเกมของแต่ละเครื่องมีดังนี้
